Renew your American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor and basic level lifeguarding certifications (Students must complete the 2017 LGI program update to be eligible for this class).
This in-person Instructor/Instructor Trainer review course is the required course for all Lifeguarding Instructors and Instructor Trainers to re-certify. During this course, Lifeguarding Instructors and Instructor Trainers will participate in an in-water practice and polish skills session with their peers and a classroom-based review of Red Cross administrative policies and procedures. This class includes "test out" session to gain a basic-level Lifeguarding certification.
Prerequisites:
· Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor or Instructor Trainer (r2017) certification
· The Lifeguarding pre-course skills session (300-yard swim, tread water and timed event)
· Please note current student level certification is not required.
